The Internally Fed Drum Screen (IFD) is a screen fed from the inside, self-cleaning, suitable for a variety of applications, from the screening of sludge receiving tanker trucks to industrial processes.

The IFD consists of a cylindrical drum screen, which can be perforated plate or wedgewire, rotated by a drive.
The inlet pipe ends inside the drum and a special distrubuting system distributes the wastewater along the drum.
A double washing system prevents clogging of the screen. An internal screw conveys screenings to the outlet.
