VoR Environmental carries a varied range of grit washers to separate organic particles from inorganic grit. 

Conventional settling tanks and grit removal systems collect both grit and organic material together. As a result, 30 to 80% of the solids captured by a grit system can be organic material. Grit washers are used to "wash" this organic material out of the collected grit and return the organics back to the wastewater processes.
