The VoR Helical Scum Skimmer is a commonly used technology for removing scum from the surface of wastewater sedimentation tanks.
Helical blades are afixed to a central axis. As the axis rotates, the helical blades circulate and collect the floating scum and convey it to the discharge t rough.
The system is available in 1 drive per skimmer or 1 drive per 2 skimmers. It is also equipped with dual protection via motion osensor and integrated mechanical shear pin.
