The SAU combines the processes of screening, grit removal and grease removal for septage receiving.
It includes screenings washing and compacting to reduce odour. Captured grit is conveyed up the inclined screw to a solids conveyor or hopper.
The SAU will treat flow streams up to 30 L/s.
